Teo de Campos

Teo de Campos is a highly experienced professional in the fields of applied science, computer vision, and deep learning, currently serving as a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft since January 2024. With a distinguished academic career, Teo de Campos has been a Research Visitor and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Surrey since July 2009, and has held the position of Professor at Universidade de Brasília from July 2016 to August 2024. Previous industry roles include Computer Vision / Deep Learning Scientist at Vicon, Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield, and positions at companies such as Xerox and Sharp Laboratories of Europe. Teo de Campos holds a PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and advanced degrees in Computer Vision and Computer Science from renowned Brazilian institutions.
