Isobel Pearce

Isobel Pearce is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Director HR: Culture, Equality and Inclusion at the University of Sussex since July 2022, Isobel previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at the Institute of Development Studies from June 2004 to July 2022, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Additional roles at the Institute included Head of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager, focusing on HR operations, employee relations, and organizational development. Earlier experience includes a HR Manager role at Westminster City Council and Head of HR Management at West Herts College. Isobel's educational background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in the Psychology of Organisational Development and Change and a Master's in Human Resource Management, both from Middlesex University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Southampton. Isobel holds the FCIPD qualification.
