Luana Olivieri

Visiting Research Fellow at University of Sussex

Luana Olivieri is a highly skilled researcher currently serving as a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Loughborough University since July 2022. Concurrently, Luana holds the position of Visiting Research Fellow and Research Fellow at the University of Sussex since September 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Higher Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, focusing on the fabrication of high Q micro-resonators within a Quantum Hub project. Luana's cleanroom expertise encompasses lithography processes, including coating, UV exposure, and etching techniques. An educator as well, Luana tutored various physics modules at the University of Sussex from September 2017 to January 2020. Luana earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Sussex (2017-2021), a Master of Science in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma (2014-2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Università degli studi Roma TRE (2011-2014).
