Amaani Hatoum

Amaani Hatoum is a dedicated research officer at Black Dog Institute since January 2025 and a psychology researcher and casual academic at the University of Technology Sydney and the University of Sydney, respectively. With experience teaching various psychology courses, including the Science of Sexuality and Social Psychology, Amaani has contributed to academia while pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the same institution, complemented by early education at MLC School Sydney. Additionally, Amaani served as a lecturer in Cross-Cultural Psychology at CIEE Amsterdam from January 2024 to December 2024.
