Farookh Khadeer Hussain is a Professor at the University of Technology Sydney since October 2022, having previously served as an Associate Professor, Head of Discipline in Software Engineering, and Senior Lecturer from January 2012 to January 2022. In these roles, Farookh has conducted high-quality research and lectured in Cloud Computing and the Internet of Things, managing externally funded research projects. Prior to this, Farookh held leadership roles at Curtin University, including Head of the Fellowship and Scholarship Committee and Head of Research Training at the DEBI Institute from January 2006 to December 2011. Farookh earned a PhD in Computer Science and Information Technology from Curtin University in 2006 and a Master of Information Technology from La Trobe University in 2003.
