Jason Benedek

Jason Benedek is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in media production, education, and management. Currently serving as the Production Support Lead at UTS: University of Technology, Sydney, since April 2004, Jason advises on design projects, particularly involving new technologies, while assisting students and staff in developing innovative prototypes. Jason's previous roles include Production Manager for postgraduate design and freelance media producer since 1992, alongside significant positions at The World Bank and the United Nations, where Jason contributed to the establishment of community media initiatives in East Timor. An experienced lecturer, Jason has taught film and video production at several universities, and holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney, along with certifications in digital editing and workplace training.
