Peta Wyeth

Peta Wyeth currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Technology Sydney, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Peta Wyeth had a long tenure at Queensland University of Technology from January 2008 to August 2023, where responsibilities included Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science, Head of the School of Computer Science, and various academic positions ranging from Professor to Senior Lecturer. Earlier academic experience includes a lecturer role at the University of Nottingham in 2007 and at the University of Queensland from 2002 to 2006. Peta Wyeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons), both obtained from the University of Queensland.
