Jason Pechardo

Jason Pechardo is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Engineering Consultant and Science Research Specialist II at the University of the Philippines Manila since July 2022. Additionally, Jason is a Senior Technical Supervisor at Ramcar Group of Companies and a Product Design and Prototyping Consultant for the Department of Chemical Engineering at UP Diliman. In the role of Research Assistant at Aerocomp Project, Jason designed a bulletproof armor utilizing natural fibers from the Philippines. Jason’s academic background includes a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of the Philippines, along with ongoing studies in Plasma and Nuclear Science at Chiang Mai University. Previous roles include Faculty at the University of the Philippines and Graduate Research Assistant at University of the Philippines Diliman, demonstrating a solid foundation in both practical and academic engineering sectors.
