Sam Poulton

Sam Poulton possesses extensive experience in international business development within the higher education sector. Currently serving as Associate Director International at the University of the Sunshine Coast since January 2025, Sam previously held the position of Head of International at Buckinghamshire New University from February 2023 to February 2025. Prior to this, roles included Senior International Manager for South East Asia and The Americas at Anglia Ruskin University (April 2019 - March 2023) and Regional Manager for Europe and The Americas at the University of Hertfordshire (March 2012 - April 2019). Additional positions at the University of Hertfordshire included International Marketing Officer, Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator for Engineering & Technology and Computer Science, International Admissions Administrator, and Policy Assistant. Sam holds a BA (Hons) 1st Class in Business Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Law, both from the University of Hertfordshire.
