Stephanie Kelly

Stephanie Kelly is a Data Management Specialist at the University of the Sunshine Coast since September 2025, where expertise in data governance, quality, architecture, and compliance drives the development of strategic initiatives that enhance the responsible use of data. Prior to this role, Stephanie held multiple positions at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, including Data Improvement Project Manager and Manager of Operations for the Crime Statistics Agency, contributing to various data and evaluation projects. Earlier experience includes significant roles at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, such as Manager of the Address Register and Manager of the National Centre for Crime and Justice Statistics. Stephanie also served as a Senior Researcher at The Social Innovation Partnership and as a Research Administrator at Rethink Mental Illness. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Social Research and Evaluation from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology.
