Professor Rachel Cragg

Professor Rachel Cragg currently serves as the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Learning, Teaching, and Student Success at the University of the West of Scotland since January 2024. Previously, Rachel Cragg held multiple senior roles at Buckinghamshire New University from January 2020 to September 2023, including Senior Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Digital, Pro Vice-Chancellor for External Engagement, and interim Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Digital. Other notable positions include Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Development) at the University of Central Lancashire, Director of Strategy, Planning and Resources at The Open University, and Director at the College of Policing. Rachel Cragg's career also includes significant roles in the National Policing Improvement Agency, The Home Office, and academic positions at King's College London and London South Bank University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Human Geography from Durham University and a PG Dip in Organisational Leadership from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
