Mollie R. Cummins

Mollie R. Cummins is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in nursing science and informatics. Serving as a Professor at the University of Utah since March 2004, Mollie also holds the position of Associate Dean for Research and the PhD Program at the University of Utah College of Nursing. Additionally, Mollie is a Senior Research Scientist at doxy.me since November 2022 and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah since 2005. Mollie's academic background includes a PhD in Nursing Science and Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington, an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University, and a BSN from the University of Illinois Chicago. Mollie participated in the steering committee for the Alliance for Nursing Informatics from 2013 to 2015 and attended the Complex Systems Summer School at the Santa Fe Institute in 2007.
