Joshua Brown

Joshua Brown has extensive experience in science writing and education, serving as a Senior Science Writer for Vermont Quarterly at the University of Vermont since February 2006, where responsibilities include writing and producing multimedia content on scientific topics. Brown directs the writing program for the UVM Field Naturalist Program and teaches environmental journalism at the Rubenstein School of Environment. Prior to these roles, Brown was a Senior Editor and Staff Writer at Wild Earth Magazine, managing content focused on conservation, and worked as an Education and Writing Projects Coordinator at NOFA-VT. A freelance writer since 2004, Joshua has contributed to a variety of publications, with a foundation in education as a former teacher at the Chewonki Foundation. Joshua holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.Th. from The University of Edinburgh.
