Lewis First

Lewis First is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as Chair of the Executive Board at the National Board of Medical Examiners since 2011. Lewis has been a Professor, Chair, and Chief of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and University of Vermont Children's Hospital since September 1994. Previously, Lewis held the position of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School from July 1980 to August 1994. Lewis holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, earned between 1984 and 1985, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School, obtained in 1980.
