Lewis First is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as Chair of the Executive Board at the National Board of Medical Examiners since 2011. Lewis has been a Professor, Chair, and Chief of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and University of Vermont Children's Hospital since September 1994. Lewis holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, earned between 1984 and 1985, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School, obtained in 1980.
