Patrick Halladay

Patrick Halladay is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Educator Licensing at the University of Vermont since January 2023. Halladay previously held the position of Director of Educator Quality for the State of Vermont from February 2019 to January 2023. Additionally, Halladay served as Commissioner and Board Chair for the Burlington School Board, focusing on improving superintendent and board evaluations, communication, and addressing budgetary challenges. With a solid foundation as an elementary school teacher at Shelburne Community School and extensive experience in curriculum development and teacher education, Halladay has a comprehensive background in educational policy and instructional practices, supported by a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Administration from Michigan State University.
