Susan Munkres

Susan Munkres is an experienced professional in higher education and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of Community-University Partnerships & Service-Learning at the University of Vermont since January 2013. Prior to this role, Munkres was the Board President of Onion River Co-op from 2009 to 2013 and a Lecturer at the University of Vermont College of Agriculture and Life Sciences from January 2011 to June 2012. Additionally, Munkres held the position of Assistant Professor at Furman University from September 2003 to June 2008. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Women's Studies from Oberlin College and a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
