Navid Mahdian is a skilled computer engineering professional with experience in teaching and research. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Victoria since May 2022, Navid instructs a class of 135 students in Data Structures and Algorithms II, focusing on advanced topics and creating educational materials. Previous roles at the university include acting as a Teaching Assistant for various courses and developing the Ego-Motion Aware Prediction module as a Research Assistant, significantly improving performance in multi-object tracking algorithms.
