Devon Christopher Wade

DeVon Christopher Wade is an experienced professional in community engagement and education, currently serving as the Community Partnerships Program Manager at the University of Virginia since January 2022. Prior to this role, DeVon held various positions at World Relief, including Community Engagement Specialist, where strong relationships were established with diverse interfaith communities in Sacramento. DeVon's background also includes roles as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Southeastern University and Visiting Lecturer at William Jessup University, focusing on human diversity, cross-cultural issues, and the global refugee crisis. Additional experience spans multiple educational and advisory positions, where DeVon emphasized mentorship and community service. DeVon holds a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Missouri Valley College.
