Seth K.

Seth K. is a highly experienced chemical engineer currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Virginia since August 2025, where mechanistic models of column chromatography were developed. Prior to this role, Seth held a long-term position as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Michigan Technological University from July 2019 to August 2025, where responsibilities included teaching multiple chemical engineering courses, developing essential engineering concepts, and engaging students in computational fluid dynamics and project-based learning. Seth also contributed to RNA extraction for Covid-19 testing, managed grounds at Sunset Bluff Resort, served as a Chemical Engineering Learning Center Coordinator, and completed an NSF International Research Experience at the National University of Singapore. Seth holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
