Sibylle Kranz

Sibylle Kranz, PhD RDN FTOS, is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of nutrition and dietetics, currently serving as Associate Professor in Kinesiology and Adjunct Associate Professor in Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia since August 2016. With a strong editorial presence as a member of the Editorial Board for Nutrients and a Fellow of The Obesity Society, Sibylle has held various leadership roles, including Chair of the Nutrition Epidemiology Section and Chair of the Nutrition Education and Behavioral Sciences Research Interest Section at the American Society for Nutrition. Previous experience includes a Senior Lectureship at the University of Bristol and an Associate Professorship at Purdue University, where Sibylle directed the Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Sibylle holds a PhD in Nutrition Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a robust background in child nutrition research, program evaluation, and academic leadership.
