Teri Strother

Teri Strother currently serves as the Associate Manager for Sustainability Communications at the University of Virginia, where responsibilities include leading communication efforts to support UVA's Sustainability Plan while promoting community engagement. Prior to this role, Teri was the Director of Communications at the Community Climate Collaborative, focusing on empowering local residents and businesses to adopt sustainable practices. As the founder of Better World Betty, Teri developed initiatives to help individuals reduce their environmental impact. Additionally, Teri has extensive experience in education, having worked as a teacher and librarian assistant, and has contributed as a freelance columnist on sustainable living. Teri's academic background includes a BA in English with a Teaching Emphasis from the University of Utah and a minor in French Studies from Université de Neuchâtel.
