Simon Stearn

Simon Stearn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Simon is currently a Chief Data Officer at the University of Warwick, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, Simon worked at SYMMETRY as a Chief Data and Technology Officer from July 2021 to July 2022. Simon also served as a full-time carer at Home from September 2020 to June 2021. Simon's previous roles include Executive Director at Avon, where they led global big data and digital experience analytics teams from September 2016 to August 2020. Simon also co-founded Cohesia, a company specializing in intelligent analytics solutions for customer journeys, from February 2015 to September 2016. Simon held leadership positions at Exony Limited and Netonomy, Inc, where they were responsible for professional services and support businesses. Simon worked at Exony Limited from March 2005 to February 2015 and at Netonomy, Inc from March 2004 to February 2005. Early in their career, Simon held various positions at Portal Software and Sybase, Inc, focusing on professional services, project management, and consultancy.

Simon Stearn attended the University of Plymouth from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bsc(Hons) degree in Computing and Informatics.
