Don MacKenzie is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington, where leadership of the Sustainable Transportation Lab focuses on enhancing the economic viability and environmental sustainability of transportation systems while ensuring equitable access. Additional experience includes a role as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company, a Senior Analyst for the Union of Concerned Scientists advocating for fuel economy standards, and a Research Engineer at Syntec Biofuel modeling renewable ethanol plants. Don holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Master's in Technology & Policy and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
