Elin Björling

Elin Björling is a seasoned researcher and educator with extensive experience in user-centered design and qualitative research methods. Currently serving as a Senior Experience Researcher at Adobe and as the Founder of Forager UX, Elin specializes in mixed-methods research and training to enhance evidence-based, human-centered approaches in technology. As an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, Elin teaches HCDE Master’s students while supporting research faculty in grant-seeking and project consultation. Previous roles include Principal UX Researcher at Halibut Flats, Clinical Faculty Member at the University of Washington Tacoma, and various leadership positions aimed at improving health outcomes through research and policy advocacy. Elin holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Washington, alongside an M.A. in Health Psychology and a BFA in Fine Arts.
