Janis Shin

Janis Shin is currently a Data Science Intern at Benson Hill, building upon extensive experience in research and project management in the scientific field. At the University of Washington, Janis serves as a Research Assistant, analyzing proteomic data and leveraging artificial intelligence for predictive modeling. Previous roles include Outreach Assistant at the Center for Reproducible Biomedical Modeling, Team Lead for Website Communications and Marketing at the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association, and Executive Administrative Assistant for the UW Graduate and Professional Student Senate. Janis has also held positions as a Project Lead at Seattle Children's and as a Summer Research Intern at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, focusing on various aspects of biomedical research and product development. Janis holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Science and Engineering and Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
