Jill Hoven

Jill Hoven, SCMP, serves as the Communications Manager for UW Human Resources at the University of Washington since July 2017, managing internal communications for over 58,000 staff, academic, and student employees while leading communication strategies across multiple locations. Hoven's previous experience includes a role as Curriculum Manager and Consultant at Adobe, where employee onboarding and training programs were developed for a newly acquired platform. Hoven also directed communications and online education at Tax Educators Network for over a decade, handling strategic planning and marketing initiatives. Early career roles involved development assistance at Seattle Center Foundation, consulting with Gartner Group/Rendall & Associates, and teaching as a graduate student instructor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Hoven holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Puget Sound, and a certificate in Writing the Screenplay from the University of Washington.
