Karen Wolf

Karen Wolf, FAICP, currently serves as AICP President at the American Planning Association since January 2023 and is an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington in the Urban Design and Planning and Civil and Environmental Engineering departments since September 2016. Previously, Karen held the position of Commissioner for Region V with the American Institute of Certified Planners from June 2014 to December 2021, representing the Western and Pacific Northwest states. With over 32 years of experience as a Senior Policy Analyst at King County, WA, Karen contributed to advancements in comprehensive land use and regional planning. Karen holds a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Washington.
