Tom Schappacher

Tom Schappacher is a seasoned finance and real estate professional with extensive experience in managing financial operations and asset management at the University of Washington since July 2005. Currently serving as the Director of the Metropolitan Tract and Interim Finance Director for Capital Planning and Development, Tom oversees financial and accounting functions for the university's real estate portfolio. Prior to the University of Washington, Tom held the position of Senior Manager at KPMG, where expertise was gained in audit and advisory services across various sectors, including real estate and technology. Tom began a career in accounting as an Associate Assurance at Deloitte & Touche and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Gonzaga University.
