Yasmine Shubber

Deep Learning Research @ Noble Lab at University of Washington

Yasmine Shubber is a dedicated professional with a strong focus on social good, currently serving as the Director of Social Good at cseed since June 2023. As an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Washington, Yasmine contributes to the Svoboda Diaries Project by digitizing transcriptions and creating XML files for data analysis. Yasmine also founded World Relief, where over 42 curriculums in coding and English skills have been developed for low-income immigrants and refugees. Previous experience includes web development internships at Cascadia College and participation in the Kode With Klossy program, where Yasmine designed a web application to support refugee and immigrant access to local resources. Additionally, Yasmine worked as Operations Coordinator for Superposition, promoting gender equity in STEM through events and mentorship. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Washington, Yasmine's education follows an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Cascadia College.
