Jared Gerlach

Jared Gerlach has extensive experience in research and strategic support roles within various academic institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Strategic Research Award Life Cycle at the University of Galway, Jared provides support for funding strategies in the College of Business, Public Policy, and Law. In addition, Jared has held positions as a Senior Research Support Officer and Research Support Officer, providing support for funding applications in various research fields. Their research interests include biomarker detection strategies and glycoscience research, with a focus on glycobiology. Gerlach has also worked in industry as a Research Manager at Aquila Bioscience. Jared holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a BS in Biology from Arizona State University.
