Sarah Powell

Sarah Powell has extensive experience in higher education and marketing, currently serving as Chief of Staff and Assistant Vice President at the University of West Georgia since August 2016. Prior roles at the university include Director of Government and External Relations, Deputy Chief of Staff, Digital Content Strategist, Communications Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, and Social Media Coordinator. Outside of the university, Sarah worked as Marketing Manager for Kristi Navarre, Realtor, and as an Event Coordinator at Wrennwood Design. Educationally, Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations/Marketing, both from the University of West Georgia.
