Pro Vice-Chancellor at University of Winchester

Matt Webster currently serves as Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Winchester since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matt was Head of School of Allied Health at Anglia Ruskin University from August 2015 to September 2022 and held the position of Deputy Head of Department for the Department of Medicine and Healthcare Science. Matt has extensive experience in academia, having functioned as a Principal Lecturer in medical science disciplines and a Course Leader at University Centre Harlow. Earlier research roles include a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cancer Research UK and a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of London. Matt's industry experience includes positions in inhalation chemistry and technical lab stewardship at MSD and Huntingdon Life Sciences. Matt holds a PhD in Structural Biology from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc with Honours in Biomedical Science from the University of Kent.
