Bill Van Heyst currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Windsor since September 2021. Prior to this role, Bill held several positions at the University of Guelph from August 2002 to September 2021, including Professor and Associate Dean for External Relations at the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, as well as Professor of Environmental Engineering at the School of Engineering. Bill's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Atmospheric Fluid Dynamics, obtained from the University of Waterloo in 1997, alongside a Master's degree in the same field completed in 1992 and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering earned in 1990 from the same institution.
