Michael Orth serves as the Dean and Professor at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls since June 2023. Prior to this role, Michael Orth was a Professor of Animal and Food Sciences at Texas Tech University from June 2013 to June 2023 and held the position of Chair and Professor at Michigan State University from May 1996 to June 2013, where research focused on skeletal biology and instruction included courses on growth and musculoskeletal biology. Michael Orth earned a Ph.D. in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Iowa.
