Luka Matak

Luka Matak is a highly experienced professional in the field of gynecology and obstetrics, currently serving as an Executive Board Member for both the Croatian Society for Gynecologic Oncology and the Croatian Society for Endometriosis since 2022. Luka holds the position of Head of the OB&Gyn Surgical Department at General Hospital Zadar, where employment commenced in November 2022. A Research Assistant at the University of Zadar and a PhD student in Biomedicine and Health Science at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, involvement in research began in January 2022. Throughout the clinical career, Luka has gained valuable experience as a Resident at General Hospital Zadar from 2014 to 2019 and completed a residency at the Hospital of the University of Tübingen. Additional training was acquired at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and teaching roles have been held at both the Croatian Red Cross and Secondary Medical School. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree obtained in 2012 from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb.
