Aliya Bari

Aliya Bari is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Zurich’s Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine and a Doctoral Researcher in the Faculty of Philosophy, specializing in Applied Ethics. With experience as Director of Data and Analytics and Innovation Manager at Utopia Music, Aliya also co-created a transparent supply chain management platform, V Journey. Previously, Aliya held the role of Senior Business Development Manager with Oriflame Cosmetics and served as Chief Executive Officer at SimplyEvents.io. Additional contributions include being a Board Member and Editor in Chief for The Journal of International Affairs in Sweden. Aliya holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and is pursuing a PhD in Applied Ethics at the University of Zurich, expected to complete in June 2026.
