Athena Economides

Athena Economides is currently a UZH Postdoc Fellow at the University of Zurich, where Athena is focusing on computer vision applications for processing large 3D biomedical image data. Previously, Athena served as a lecturer at ETH Zürich, teaching High Performance Computing in Science and Engineering. Athena has extensive experience as a postdoctoral research associate at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and at Universitätsspital Zürich, developing software for automated processing of large 3D images. Athena's academic background includes a PhD from ETH Zürich, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cyprus.
