Ning Wang is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in value-sensitive innovation and the ethical governance of technology. Currently serving as a Council Member for the Global Future Council of Technology Policy at the World Economic Forum, Ning Wang also leads research activities at the University of Zurich's Digital Society Initiative while engaging as an Academic Associate at the Geneva Center of Humanitarian Studies. A prolific visiting scholar, Ning Wang has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Yale University, Delft University of Technology, and Monash University, among others. Prior to academia, an extensive career as an Ethics Officer encompassed roles with various UN organizations, developing ethics policies and promoting ethical practices in both business and humanitarian contexts. Ning Wang holds a PhD in Biomedical Ethics and Law from the University of Zurich and multiple advanced degrees in Applied Ethics and Political Science.
