Simon Albertini

Simon Albertini currently serves as the Managing Director at the Department of Quantitative Biomedicine at the University of Zurich, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Simon worked as a Consultant at Medidee, focusing on scientific, regulatory, and clinical affairs related to medical devices and auditing certification requirements for ISO 13485. Simon also held roles as Operations Manager and Lead Auditor at Swiss Certification Services, overseeing the certification of sterilization units and managing internal operations and quality management systems. Earlier experiences include scientific management at the University of Zurich, scientific assistance at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, and lecturing in chemistry courses at the Management Center Innsbruck. Simon holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nanophysics and Biophysics, along with multiple degrees in chemistry and molecular medicine from various institutions, including Universität Innsbruck and McMaster University.
