Candice Williams

Candice Williams is an accomplished educator with over nine years of experience in teaching and reading specialization. Currently, Williams serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Urby Education since August 2018, while also working as a Reading Specialist at University Preparatory Schools since August 2017. Prior experience includes six years in the classroom as an Elementary School Teacher at George Washington Carver Academy, where responsibilities included mentoring and participation in various school improvement initiatives. Williams holds a Master’s degree in Reading Specialist and a Bachelor's degree in Education, both from Wayne State University. As an award-winning educator, Candice Williams continues to contribute significantly to the field of education.
