Tanya Wells Brown is a Senior Gender in Health and Gender Based Violence Specialist at URC since March 2021, providing technical support and advisory services for the Millennium Challenge Cooperation's Lesotho Compact II. Tanya also serves as a Specialist Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and an Associate Tutor at University of Essex Online, focusing on gender and social determinants of health. Tanya's experience includes roles as an Evaluation Consultant for World Vision and World Vision Australia, a Research Consultant for UN Women, and Ending Violence Against Women Research Coordinator for UNFPA. Tanya has contributed to gender and social inclusion analyses for Population Services International and has led a Child Situational Analysis at Development Pathways Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Public Health and Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master’s in Health Economics from the London School of Economics. Currently, Tanya is pursuing a Postgraduate in Social Work at Oxford Brookes University.
