Shariah Bottex

Shariah Bottex has extensive experience in various education and program management roles. They most recently worked as a Program Manager at The Fresh Air Fund starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Program Director at the University Settlement Society of New York from January 2020. Shariah also served as a 1st Grade Teacher at P.S. 11 Purvis J Behan from September 2019 to January 2020. They were a Kindergarten Teacher at Challenge Preparatory Charter School from August 2018 to August 2019. Additionally, Shariah worked as an Education Director at Supermoon Community Art Space from June 2018 to August 2018, and as a Teacher Assistant at Lehigh Valley Children's Centers from February 2018 to June 2018. Their earliest experience in the field comes from their time as a Teacher at Union Settlement Association, where they worked from August 2013 to February 2018. Overall, Shariah Bottex has built a strong background in education and program management throughout their career.

Shariah Bottex began their education at Mercy College in 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Shariah successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2015. Following that, they furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching between 2016 and 2018.

In addition to their degrees, Shariah Bottex also holds a professional teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education, B-2nd Grade. Shariah obtained this certification from New York State in September 2021.
