Dakim Duncan

Dakim Duncan is currently the Beacon Program Director at University Settlement, a role held since September 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing programs that support diverse New Yorkers in achieving healthy and stable lives. Previous experience includes serving as the Program Director for SONYC, ensuring operational excellence in academic and enrichment programming, and working as an Activity Specialist. Between June 2010 and May 2018, Dakim owned Excelsior Marketing Group, a full-service marketing firm, and held positions such as Marketing Director for The Charka Collection and Chief Marketing Officer for Black Business Expo East, focusing on strategic marketing initiatives. Prior employment includes serving as a Sales Manager at Altria, facilitating trade marketing programs for small businesses.
