Karyl R. Martin is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and previously as Associate General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel for the University System of New Hampshire since August 2014, delivering comprehensive legal services in areas such as employment law, contracts, student affairs, Title IX, Clery, and FERPA. Prior experience includes working as a Business Litigation Attorney at Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA from September 2006 to July 2014, as well as serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Paul J. Barbadoro at the United States District Court and the Honorable James E. Duggan at the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Karyl R. Martin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School, a Master of Social Work from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Georgetown University.
