Naimah Rahman

Naimah Rahman has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Naimah started their career as a Staff Writer and Freshmen Intern at Jerk Magazine, where they wrote articles and contributed to the print team. Naimah then worked as a Youth Producer Intern at the Educational Video Center, producing different forms of media addressing social justice issues. At Syracuse University, Naimah served as a Communications Intern and Institutional Effectiveness Intern, where they updated the office website, created graphics, and represented students. Naimah also worked at CitrusTV as a Host/Talent Booker and Commentator/Associate Producer on the late-night show 'Cuse Tonight. Furthermore, Naimah held roles at University Union, including Collaborations Co-Director and Bandersnatch Concert Series Co-Coordinator. Naimah also had experience as a Residential Advisor at the Office of Student Living. Currently, they hold the position of Music and Talent Acquisition Director at WERW Radio. Additionally, Naimah has completed an internship as a Booking Intern at Live Nation Entertainment. Throughout their work experience, Naimah's roles have included a focus on music, talent acquisition, event coordination, media production, and communications.

Naimah Rahman obtained their High School Diploma in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Midwood High School from 2017 to 2021. Naimah is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, from 2021 to 2025.
