Robert Heywood

Robert Heywood is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Unlikely AI since January 2021, where focus lies on developing a neurosymbolic platform that integrates generative AI with symbolic methods. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions at Improbable from January 2019 to January 2021, including Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead, and was a Project Lead at Ensoft from September 2016 to December 2018. Robert began the career with roles at Rothschild and Deloitte UK, along with a summer project at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Physics from Oxford University, completed in 2016, and prior studies at Lord Wandsworth College.
