Emilia Pelech

Emilia Pelech has a diverse work experience in various roles within the fashion industry. Emilia started their career as a Costumer/Cataloguer at Ryerson Fashion Collection/Archive in 2006, where they worked on cataloguing and caring for garments in the fashion archive. Emilia then worked as an Art Director at Centurion Pictures in 2008, where they were responsible for props and set dressing on a theatrical trailer.

In 2009, Emilia joined Aimee McWilliams as a Design Assistant/Intern, where they gained experience in the design process. Emilia continued to expand their skills by contributing to TLC* Magazine as a Contributor from 2010 to 2011. Emilia also worked as a Studio Manager at KNYTTAN Ltd in 2015, overseeing the operations of the studio.

From 2011 to 2015, Emilia worked as a Studio Manager for Kennaland, a private hair studio, where they assisted the stylist, Kenna, with various tasks including reception, scheduling, and bookkeeping. Emilia also organized Kenna's team for runway shows during fashion week.

Emilia's career progressed in 2015 when they joined Unmade, a digital platform for the fashion industry, as a Studio Producer. Emilia played a crucial role in connecting customer choices to automated manufacturing and enabling brands to customize their garments at scale. Emilia gradually advanced within Unmade, working as a Project Manager from 2017 to 2019, Senior Project Manager from 2019 to 2021, and now holds the position of Customer Account Lead.

In addition to their employment, Emilia has also pursued freelance work as a Fashion Stylist/Director since 2007. Emilia'swork has been featured in various publications and creative projects.
