Juan David Barahona is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure development across Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently serving as a Regional Infrastructure Advisor for UNOPS since January 2023, Barahona previously held roles including Senior Transport Consultant at Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo and Advisor for Public-Private Partnerships at Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá, D.C. Notable achievements include leading a team at FONADE that managed over 1,600 infrastructure projects across Colombia, generating significant investments that benefitted numerous municipalities.
