Shannon Kerlick

Shannon Kerlick has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Starting in 1998 with IBM, they served as a Sr. IT Architect for Industry Strategy, overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of next-generation applications. They also worked as an IT Architect and Development Lead, managing various web, e-commerce, and analytic/data-mining projects for both IBM and its customers. In 2016, they joined Blackboard as a Senior Software Architect, focusing on creating mobile-first applications and supporting advanced data analysis. In 2017, Shannon moved on to the Ed-Fi Alliance, where they worked as a Solution Architect, building solutions for educators and students with data interoperability. Currently, they are employed at Unqork as the Director of Solutions Architecture.

Shannon Kerlick attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1990 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in SOA Design and Implementation from IBM, but the exact month and year of obtaining the certification are not specified.
