John Whyte

John Whyte is an experienced professional in program management and donor relations, currently serving as a Field Programme Support Officer at UNRWA since April 2013. In this role, John provides operational support to senior management during crises and manages a team focused on strategic development and project support in the Lebanon Field Office, overseeing donor relations and project implementation. Previous positions include Acting Head of the Field Investigations Office, where John managed investigations into beneficiary complaints, and Project Manager for the reconstruction of Nahr el-Bared Palestine Refugee Camp. Prior to UNRWA, John was the Chief Executive at F2 Centre and Enterprise Management Board, leading urban regeneration projects and managing donor relations. John holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Dublin City University and additional qualifications in Social Work, Social Policy, and Music from various institutions.
